One World Surgery offers scholarships for certain roles and certain medical mission trips. Please contact MedicalMissions@oneworldsurgery.org for more information.
Additionally, many employers offer financial support to participate in medical missions. Check with your employer to learn if assistance is available.
Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA) sponsors the $1,000 program fee for SCA teammates (excluding physicians). SCA teammates do not need to do anything to request this payment; it is automatically applied to teammates’ registration accounts upon approval of their medical mission application.
OptumCare sponsors the $1,000 program fee for OptumCare employees. OptumCare employees do not need to do anything to request this payment; it is automatically applied to employees’ registration accounts upon approval of their medical mission application.
One Nurse At A Time offers a limited number of scholarships (up to $1,000) for nurses to participate in medical mission trips. Learn more by clicking below.
The Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA) sponsors a limited number of program fee and flight scholarships for ASCA members filling certain clinical roles on One World Surgery medical missions. View the application and eligibility by clicking below.
Summit Orthopedics sponsors the $1,000 program fee and flights for a limited number of Summit Orthopedic employees. Employees should contact Summit Orthopedics directly to obtain a scholarship application.
Ivy Rehab sponsors the $1,000 program fee for a limited number of Ivy Rehab employees. Employees should contact Ivy Rehab directly to obtain a scholarship application.
