2024 Teammate Giving Campaign

One World Surgery envisions a world without healthcare disparity, where every patient has access to high-quality surgical and primary care. SCA Health is proud to be the foundational corporate partner of OWS. 

Our teammates helped build this nonprofit from day one, and once a year, our SCA Health community unites to financially contribute to provide surgical and primary care in Honduras and the Dominican Republic. 

How to Participate: 

• Set Up Payroll Deductions: Deducting just the cost of your daily coffee or lunch can make a world of difference. Set it and forget it – your steady support brings continuous care to those most in need. 

• Make a One-Time Gift: A single donation of $30 from every SCA Health teammate would hit our goal in no time! Your one-time gift can make an immediate difference for our patients. 
• Join a Medical Mission: Volunteers work alongside local staff to provide life-changing care to patients in need. Program fees and a week of PTO are covered for SCA Health teammates! Visit our website to learn more.

When you give to One World Surgery, you’re investing in transformational, tangible healthcare. Families are healthier. Children return to school. Communities thrive. That’s the power of your generosity. 

• $1 per pay period – Provides lab testing for one patient, ensuring timely and accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and improved outcomes.  
• $2 per pay period – Provides a year’s supply of medication to one patient with a chronic condition, enhancing their quality of life. 
• $5 per pay period – Helps provide transportation and lodging for patients who travel from far away to be treated, breaking down the barrier to providing accessible healthcare. 
• $20 per pay period – Helps provide educational opportunities such as internships, training, and workshops to local health professionals and the community. 
• $58 per pay period – Funds a transformative surgery for one patient.
• $100 per pay period – Provides lab testing for 100 patients.
• $250 per pay period – Funds transformative surgeries for 4 patients.
• $500 per pay period – Funds transformative surgeries for 8 patients.

UHG Match: Your donation will be doubled thanks to the generosity of the UHG Foundation! For this year only, there is no action required for SCA Health teammates to qualify for the match.
