A Letter from a Patient
Esteemed friends:
Allow me to introduce myself; my name is Nery Antonia Lopez Escoto, 68 years old, single mother of one son, with an average level of education. With much sacrifice, I obtained the titles of Business Expert and Certified Public Accountant. During this entire time, I have been the breadwinner, and due to an accident in my bathroom, my role has been compromised, due to a fracture in my left shoulder. Per the diagnosis of the local physicians, they did not have the supplies needed to do the surgery on my shoulder.
After searching for the proper medical attention over the course of months, I spoke with the surgery center at NPH. Since I came to this place, I have been cared for by true angels, as much as medical professionals, helping individuals who have demonstrated a high degree of human quality. It is for this reason that I want to express my gratitude to the people of the surgery center, who provided the means to make this possible. I give thanks for the generous heart that enables you to give smiles to people like me.
