Laboratory Technician Receives Life Changing Surgery
Deisy is a 35-year-old Clinical Laboratory Technician from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, who received a hernia repair surgery at OWS earlier this year. Deisy’s health problem developed after the delivery of her 4-year-old daughter. She was diagnosed with an umbilical hernia and was advised to undergo surgery.
“I had heard about OWS and when I reached out for more information, they responded immediately,” said Deisy.
Deisy underwent an initial evaluation in January, and two weeks later, she had her surgery, which was a complete success.
“Soon I will be able to return to my job and carry out daily activities with my children.”
